Miles - 7 months!!

7 month stats:

Weight: 20.10 pounds

Height: 27.25 inches

Eating: Breastfeeding every 2-3 hours and trying ALL THE FOODS!!

Clothes: 12 months is what fits you best. 

Diaper: Size 3.

Miles (AKA MyMy, 5K, 5280, buddy, turkey)

I keep blinking and you keep getting bigger - sweeter - more yummy. 7 months already???

Right now you are rocking your second BAD cold - you're pretty sad but still so happy and sweet. You are just so awesome - I love watching you navigate the world around you. You constantly watch and learn from everyone around you. You are becoming so independent and confident - just a true dream. I know I say this often - but we were truly MISSING YOU. We just didn't know it and we are so glad to have you in our family. 

You are the sweetest little love - you sit totally unassisted and roll every which way - it's so funny and so fast. You're also able to scoot / roll your way across a room - I think you'll be crawling over the next few weeks if I was a guessing girl. You put everything in your mouth and love a good toy. You love your jumperoo, all your toys, anything stuffed. You also have seem to really take a liking to your lovey - he's a white stuffed bear / blanket and we named him Howard. 

You STINK at sleeping. We are nearing 4 weeks of sleeping training and you are NOT catching on - I do see how far we've come but you still wake up about 2-3 times a night to nurse plus we need to go in a bunch to calm you down. I know you're getting better and I need to be patient but it's hard - we're both so tired. My favorite is the morning - you come in our bed around 6 AM to nurse and always go right back to sleep - snuggled up against me. You go to bed around 6:15 PM which is helping you get some solid sleep in. You nap twice a day in your stroller but I'm hoping to move you to the crib for naps soon. 

You are doing AMAZING with food - we are doing baby led weaning (we just give you whatever we are eating in full - no baby food for you!) - you love everything. On Thanksgiving, you ate it ALL - sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, turkey, cranberry sauce - I've lost track of all the foods you've tried. The only foods you don't seem to love (besides baby food) is broccoli and avocado. I'm going to try the sippy cup with you soon so you can try some water.

You are teething (for what feels like forever) - but nothing has popped through yet. I'm hoping they come through soon for your sake. Between this cold and teething, I think you're in bad pain.

You LOVE the bath - I'm going to move you to the blow-up tub now that you're sitting up so great. Layla & Benny fight over who can take a bath with you - and for sure you love when they are in there with you. If I tell you to splash, you now do it happily!!

I love the noises you make - like a dinosaur!! You just talk, talk, talk. And your sweet laugh - from anything and everything - giggling and cooing and ALL the baby noises. The best sounds.

We are coming up on your FOURTH trip to Florida - it's so so awesome. I'm excited for our next trip to Florida because it'll be for a week. I think we'll have the best time - even better if you start SLEEPING!!! :)

You started with a new nanny today - Miss Kristen. We had the best time with Maddyn and I'm sad she can't work with us anymore but I think Miss Kristen will be great. You'll be with her Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Tuesday and Thursday, you're with Mom Mom & Pop Pop. Lucky boy!!

Your brother, sister, cousins, aunt, uncles... we all can't get ENOUGH OF YOU! I don't think you understand how truly loved you are. 

I booked your first birthday party...your love of the water means it's time for SWIMMING!! And believe me, you will be surrounded by everyone that adores you. 

BUT -- don't rush to getting there. I wish I could keep you little forever.
