  3. 17 days until C-Section.
  4. Laura & Clay come today for the weekend.
  5. After today, 2 1/2 days left of work...then I'm done for 17 weeks.
  6. A great holiday season including Christmas Eve at The Connors (tradition since 7th grade) and Christmas Day Brunch at Matt & Danielle's house.
  7. Love having Josh home from work all week.
  8. I cannot believe 2013 will be here on Tuesday. 2012 was a GREAT year.
  9. Plans for this weekend include massages, food, naps, and timing contractions??
  10. I will be full term on Monday and I'm torn between wanting him out NOW and wanting to wait until our scheduled C-Section.
  11. I need to disinfect our entire house - Josh & Layla are finally better... hoping to be not far behind them.
  12. It's going to snow tomorrow - I love winter.
  13. I'm starting to plan Layla's 2nd birthday party in my head.
  14. I have to pack my hospital bag.
  15. HAPPY NEW YEARS!!! I'll try to write more later - if not - see you next year ;)

My ladies <3 Plus Layla. Nothing better.

Big belly & Layla. She is the best at finding a spot to cuddle with me.

He is dropping - and fast.
  • How far along? 36 weeks, 4 days.
  • Total weight gain/loss: Batteries broken on scale - best news ever, ha!
  • Maternity clothes? It's a matter of finding clothes that fit. Maternity or not, anything that can stretch over my belly and isn't completely uncomfortable is a win.
  • Stretch marks? I have spotted a few randoms on my sides. This makes me a sad pup. I'm continuing to use bio oil and hoping these puppies are not going to invite friends and family.
  • Sleep: Just awful. Painful. Up every 1-2 hours to pee. I can't wait until he comes so I can sleep again. Or not.
  • Best moment this week: Despite being sick, Josh being sick, Layla even a little sick - it's been a really nice few days of family time. Also, spending time with my girlfriends on Christmas Eve was so lovely. I adore my friends and wish I could see them more often.
  • Have you told family and friends: Yes.
  • Movement: Constant. I swear he is trying to break out. My favorite, favorite, favorite thing is that he is obsessed with Josh's voice - he literally MOVES to whatever side Josh is sitting on. It's amazing.
  • Food cravings:  Not really...
  • Anything making you queasy or sick: The only time my nausea seems bad is when my heartburn is bad - Zantac helps.
  • Gender prediction: BOY!!
  • Labor Signs: A bit of pressure, a bit of contractions - nothing really else. I want him to keep cooking until at least Monday..then he is free to come out. Seriously, hear that buddy? Although I'm totally okay with him waiting until 1/14, his C-Section date.
  • Belly Button in or out? Barely in.
  • Wedding rings on or off? Still wearing my wedding band, no e-ring.
  • Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy but being sick is making me a sad pup. Hopeful it is a quick and painless day or two and then I'm healthy again.
  • Weekly Wisdom: No amount of hand washing, clothes washing, sanitizing -- can save you from sickness!!!
  • Milestones: We are almost full term. We are almost there. AHHHHH!!!

A great week come and gone... too fast!!

Last Friday, my team at work threw me a surprise baby shower. It was SO sweet and they were so kind. Showered in yummy food and gifts, I was so happy. I also got a text message from Layla's fabulous teacher, Miss Lizzie, that Layla was tugging on her ear. She said she was generally happy and sleeping so I kept her at school until pick up. Fast forward to one (very long) doctor's appointment later and Layla was diagnosed with her first ear infection. Bam. 2 days at school and she is already sick - I guess I should have seen it coming?? She was extremely happy despite the ear infection which was great.

(This was also the day that tragedy struck in Newtown, Connecticut. I could write an entire blog on this . There are no words. I have nothing I could write that could accurately portray my exact thoughts on the subject. How? Why? I cried and continued to cry, daily, for the teachers, faculty and 20 young lives lost. My heart aches. I look at Layla in awe and amazement and I try to remember how fast it goes and how everything can change in the blink of an eye.)

Last Sunday, my sister threw me a baby sprinkle. It was the PERFECT afternoon, seriously. It was small and intimate, at a local salon (Blo-Out Bar) where they only do hair styling. It was so much fun - just my sister, sister in laws, best friends, cousins and Aunt. I loved it so much. Afterwards, we all came to my house for dinner. It was relaxing and silly and we were showered in gifts. I'm so very lucky and feel so very grateful for all that I have. (On a side note, the theme of the shower was mustaches - which is SO bizarre because just a couple of months ago I told Josh that would be the baby boy's 1st birthday theme for sure -- now it HAS to be!!)

Last Monday, Layla's ear infection turned into a full-on upper respiratory something complete with fevers and mucus. It was awful and I felt so bad for her. We spent a lot of time cuddling mixed in with playing. We had lunch with my dad and she wasn't herself. This led into Tuesday as well so we skipped her normal Romp & Roll class - bummer. By Tuesday night she was acting happy and normal which was a HUGE relief. Josh took her to school on Wednesday and she did great!!

I also had my last ultrasound on Tuesday... the baby boy looked delicious per usual and I cannot wait to kiss his chubby cheeks!!!!! At the appointment, he weighed a whopping 6 pounds, 9 ounces.. geesh. I'm estimating he'll be about 8 1/2 pounds but who knows!! (My neighbor, Deni, says it's good I'm having a C-Section so I don't have to think about it, hahaha.. she's due 4 days after my C-Section with a baby fun!!) His heart rate was 128. He looks great and best news of all - my placenta previa CLEARED! I can't believe it!! I am still moving forward with my C-Section but it's so nice to know I could have a vaginal delivery if needed.

This morning was another appointment with my regular OBGYN.. the baby measured great. I had my Group B Strep test done (if positive, at birth I will receive antibiotics) - otherwise we're right on schedule. 3 1/2 weeks to go... the room is ready (minus a lamp, area rug and some decorations) - I'm getting the car seat back from my sister this week - Shari & Brian got us a new Rock & Play Sleeper so he'll have a cozy little home next to my bed. We just need the baby boy!!!

My nesting is in full effect... I have all my bills paid and in order... I'm making out schedules for Layla and getting ready to set out the outfits she will wear that entire week (don't judge me) - it's all happening and QUICK. I keep thinking I will go earlier then January 14th.. we shall see!!

I am very excited for this upcoming week - Christmas Eve at Karen's house, Christmas Brunch at Matt & DD's house and next weekend Laura & Clay come to town!! CANNOT WAIT!

lots of love and merry Christmas!!!!

Some of my ladies at my baby sprinkle - they are amazing. I'm so lucky.
Work baby shower -- this is a pacifier made out of icing, life savers and jelly belly. SO CUTE!!!

All ready for the Barash Hanukkah party - wearing her faux fur. Too cute.

A quick time for playing on the front porch!

Baby Sprinkle at Blo-Out Bar & My house... my sister put it together and it was PERFECT! (Remi, Kim, Me & Layla)

Sisters. Best friends. And looking alike thanks to straight hair!

Fun times with my best girl, Ray <3
    35/33 ;)

  • How far along? 35 weeks, 2 days.
  • Total weight gain/loss: Up 1.2 for a total of 42.6. COOL.
  • Maternity clothes? Oh yes. I'm at the point now where I ONLY want to wear sweats. Too bad I'd look like a complete bum.
  • Stretch marks? I think I spotted a couple on my side yesterday. I haven't looked again. I'm too afraid.
  • Sleep: Up a lot, but 2 nights ago I slept fairly well. Hopefully that carries me through until my next night of sleeping well, haha.
  • Best moment this week: So many. Surprise work baby shower. Family Hanukkah Party. Baby Sprinkle on Sunday. Ultrasound on Tuesday seeing my sweet boy.
  • Have you told family and friends: Yes.
  • Movement: All the time. The best ? When he moves towards Josh's voice - he is clearly already Dada obsessed.
  • Food cravings:  I had 8 cookies yesterday. I'd have 80 more if I could.
  • Anything making you queasy or sick: Heartburn yesterday was killer.
  • Gender prediction: BOY!!
  • Labor Signs: Some contractions (nothing bad) and a bit of pressure.
  • Belly Button in or out? Barely in.
  • Wedding rings on or off? Still wearing my wedding band, no e-ring.
  • Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy but crying a lot.. I cried driving the other day for a solid 30 minutes while listening to Eddie From Ohio. Weirdo.
  • Weekly Wisdom: There is nothing better then spending time with family & friends - enjoy every second. We never know when it will end.
  • Milestones: 35/35. Last ultrasound. One month from today is due date. (but 3 1/2 weeks until C-Section). AHHHHHH!

    34 weeks!

Sesame Place - Josh, Layla & BIG BIRD!

Burt, Josh & Layla... love this!

Josh & Layla make the same faces often - it's so cute.

Layla's eyes lit up seeing Cookie Monster!

A little nervous to meet Elmo despite asking for him ALL day! ;)

    Cookie loving!!

    She loved it! (Kind of..haha)

HAPPY HANNUKAH! We have been lighting the Menorah every night - Layla loves it (and gifts - and Hannukah gelt)

    Bath fun!

Ready for her 1st day of school!

One of the pictures her teacher sent me!

SHE SLEEPS AT SCHOOL! (I didn't send Mr Bear or Kyle and she ended up sleeping with a baby doll - too cute)

What a GREAT week we had...

Friday 12/7 - Addison (Keith & Melissa's 15th month old daughter) and Lily (Jeff & Kristin's 2 month old daughter) came over for a play date!!! It was so much fun and nice to see the girls playing together. I can't believe how big Layla & Addie are getting - Lily is SO sweet, a little bundle of joy. That night, we (Josh, Layla & myself) had a yummy dinner at KC Prime.

Saturday 12/8 - I woke up early to get my haircut & colored.. it's always nice to have a bi of pampering! Afterwards, home to pick up Layla & Josh and we were Sesame Place bound for a Very Furry Christmas -- we had 12 PM reservations for lunch and it was the best thing ever. The park didn't open until 1:00 PM so we were literally some of the first people there - once inside, we had our own table and were literally SWARMED by all the characters!! Everyone from Elmo, Burt, Ernie, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Zoe - it was so great and Layla really loved it. She was a little nervous from time to time but smiled so big! The food wasn't great but who cares?! Afterwards, we went to see a show, Josh & Layla rode 2 rides (merry-go-round and Dumbo-like ride) - it was cold so we left. A perfect afternoon! That night, Josh went out with friends and I experienced my first contractions. OW. Not fun. A little scary but not too bad -- I think my body is getting ready! (It was also the start of HANNUKAH!! We gave Layla her shopping cart with fake food!)

Sunday 12/9 - We finally picked out cabinets for our island - kitchen renovations will now begin!! We were hoping to have it done by baby B's arrival but no such luck... we'll probably end up holding off on starting until February. I would have loved to have it done by the baby's bris but it's okay - no biggie fries. That day, Josh put together Layla's play kitchen - SHE LOVES IT! It's so much fun and adorable to watch her COOK!

Monday 12/10 - Stanley Steemer came in the morning and cleaned all the rugs - wahoo! Smells and looks great! Ready for baby boy! Lunch with my dad in the afternoon (yum). Doctor's appointment that afternoon - baby is measuring great.

Tuesday 12/11 - Toddler Tunes in the morning. Errands with my girly. Lots of cuddles. Preparations for school. Lots of mama tears!!!

Wednesday 12/12 - Layla's FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!! I took the morning off of work and Josh was able to fit his schedule so he could take her to school with us. We all got ready - I cried while Layla drank milk. I cried while I put her dress on. I just cried - when did she get SO big?! We took her to school and went into the classroom. We were warmly greeted by her teachers (Lizzie & Louise) - Layla clung to Josh's hands for a few minutes but then was off exploring! We handed the teacher all of her things and noticed Layla was happy so we left... it was the weirdest, hardest feeling. I had my holiday party for work so I was occupied which helped. That afternoon, the teacher text messaged me saying that Layla cried a little bit but was doing great. She loved the moon bounce and games (it was Hannukah Game Day!), played nice, ate some lunch and ever SLEPT! I was so happy and proud. I picked her up from school and we cuddled all night. I'm nervous for Friday but confident everyday will get better & better!!!

Ok... must run but we're 4 1/2 weeks away. My C-Section time was moved from 8:45 AM to 3:00 PM yesterday - stinks because I can't eat past midnight the night before but it's still the same day (1/14) so I'm happy about that.

Tonight is Hannukah celebrations at my parent's house... this weekend includes Hannukah celebration at Aunt Karen & Uncle Brad's house and baby sprinkle on SUNDAY!

    Until next week!!!

  • How far along? 34 weeks, 3 days.
  • Total weight gain/loss: Up 1.8 pounds. A total of 41.4. Thank heavens I'm almost done cooking!!!
  • Maternity clothes? Yes yes. I'm always tempted to buy more but it's pointless at this point so I keep wearing the same outfits over & over.
  • Stretch marks? Not yet - come onnnnnnn BIO OIL!
  • Sleep: No. Painful. Up off and on. I feel bad but we're now putting the cats in the basement so I am waking up a little less then I was prior.
  • Best moment this week: Layla not hating actually liking school. Huge relief. Contractions last weekend - while this wasn't a "best" moment, it made me realize how close we are! Sesame Place was so great last weekend.
  • Have you told family and friends: Yes.
  • Movement: Constant. Painful. Poor bugger is running out of room.
  • Food cravings:  Food. I'm getting a little fuller faster. This is good.
  • Anything making you queasy or sick: Thank the lord, no. I can't deal with anymore nausea.
  • Gender prediction: BOY!!
  • Labor Signs: Braxton Hicks out the wazoo. Some real contractions.
  • Belly Button in or out? Barely in.
  • Wedding rings on or off? I've been wearing my wedding band and have since given up my engagement ring as it's getting a little tight :(
  • Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy but crying OFTEN... ranging from hunger, tired, Layla starting school, working on babe's nursery... I just cry. lol.
  • Weekly Wisdom: Have faith your 18 month old will thrive in SCHOOL - you made the right decision.
  • Milestones: We are now at weekly doctor appointments. I have 3 more weeks left of work. It's ALL happening!!!

    18 months!!!!

Early morning photoshoot with Mr Bear!

The end -- ready to run around instead of sit on the chair!
My big girl - on the GO!

Tall enough to look outside in her bedroom now - we do this quite often :) She loves pointing out the "leaves'", "birds",  "cars", "trees" and "airplanes"

    giggle face!

    I'm going to get youuuuuu!!!

    18 months and PROUD!

    18 month stats:
Weight: 25 pounds if I had to guess - I don't think she's gained much thanks to all the running around.
Height: 32.5 inches last month - probably 33 inches by now?
Eating: Getting better & better - eating a ton - organic milk 4 times a day (wake up, 2 naps and bedtime)
Clothes: 12-18 month (getting small), 18 month, 18-24 month and 24 month!
Diaper: Size 4. Size 5 at night.
    Shoe Size: 4 1/2 - 5

    My 18 month old...

Can it be? Have you been in our lives a full 18 months?! As I watch you on the video monitor snore away (loudly, like your Dada), I can't remember life before you. I don't want to remember. You, my dear, are the shining star of this family. You have taught me patience, wisdom, joy and true happiness. Your delight at seeing and trying new things is incredibly refreshing and I'm seeing the world in a whole new way. Things I used to pass by - trees, leaves, airplanes, point out and shout with such excitement. I love it and I love you for showing me how much beauty there is right under our noses.

I think, without a doubt, this is my favorite age so far. (I think I may have said that once, or twice, or every month...) I can't get over how smart and big you are. You love to walk, run, climb and jump. You dance, you sing, you mimic and you shout. You are every bit of toddler I expected. You are even starting to throw tantrums when you want something but if we can figure out what it is (9 times out of 10, a snack), you're happy. If not, you will THROW yourself on the floor - it's comical but I try not laugh or give in. I feel so bad when you get so sad & angry but you are getting better! You are getting better at not hitting or biting which is fabulous because you will soon be in your very own CLASSROOM! School starts on Wednesday -- I'm so unbelievably nervous. I know you'll do amazing but I think the adjustment may be hard in the beginning. Other then Mom-Mom & Pop-Pop's house on Thursdays, you have never been out of the house all day without us. You will need to learn to nap on a mat rather then in the crib, and you'll need to learn to share and make friends. It will be great and I have no doubt you'll be successful. I just can't believe school time is already here.

This past month was a lot of fun -- we celebrated the start of cold weather, Thanksgiving, a visit from Grandma & Grandpa and more. You've had a lot of fun! We are currently working on teaching you numbers (you can count from 1-10, but only when in the mood and you miss some numbers), you sing along to the alphabet (and chime in on a few letters), we're working on animal noises, body parts and colors. I think you understand more then you repeat back to us - you need to be in the mood to answer our questions.

Playtime is so much fun - you now make all your toys "talk" to each other - you are very good at playing by yourself and I love it. You'll sometimes sing or dance when you think no one is watching - it's so blissful to see. For Hanukkah, we are giving you a play kitchen - I think you will LOVE it!! Hanukkah starts tomorrow so hopefully Dada can put it together this weekend. We also got you a shopping cart full of groceries, an easel to paint on, and assorted other toys. I think it's time I pack away some of the "baby" toys for your little brother - your toy boxes (and our living room and basement) are overflowing!

Movies, movies, movies -- the favorites this month include Lion King (Simba), Aladdin (says perfectly), Finding Nemo (Nemo), Happy Feet (says perfectly), Tangled (Ryder), Rio (says perfectly), Shrek (Donkey) and Toy Story (Woody Buzz). You still love Sesame Street, Jacks Big Music Show and most recently Yo Gabba Gabba. I try to keep the TV off and listen to music instead but now that you are getting so amazing at talking, you'll ask for exactly what you want. Smart cookie, my dear. At least you dance your way through every movie...

Probably your best month of sleep to date... there were some nights you slept about 13 1/2 hours. YAY for Mama & Dada!! Mostly you sleep 7:30 - 7:15, not too shabby! You still nap twice a day but I think this will be changing very soon once school starts. I'll miss your morning nap but I wouldn't mind one long afternoon nap instead - it will make it easier to plan our days together.

This has been another great month of eating and trying new things -- you're very open to new foods which is GREAT! You love to ask for snacks and cereal (and you'll go into the pantry and bring what you want while proudly announcing "Here ya go!" - translation - "open this and feed me, please!") I figured out a way to get veggies in - you'll eat the organic toddler pouches! You can feed yourself which you love and you're eating yummy foods like peas and green beans!! You also seem to really love eggs now which is great. One of your new favorite foods is peanut butter (which you call "butter") - you'll eat it right off the spoon, like mama!!

Mondays music class is over but will start again in January. We miss it a lot but I decided we'll be doing it again even though the baby comes - I can't imagine our weeks without it! Tuesdays Romp & Roll class is so much fun. You're getting so good at all the things they have. There is a hanging trapeze that you've now mastered - you literally hang from it using  upper body strength, so cool. You also climb the slide very well. You are still not great at sitting with the group during circle time but you're getting better!

This next month will be full of lots of spoiling. It is your last full month as an only child. My anxiety about this grows everyday. How will you handle the change? Will you be okay without the full attention of us? Will you feel left out? I know this is crazy to worry about because the "best gift you can give a child is a baby brother or sister" but I still worry. So this month I am doing nothing but showing you how much I love you. We go to Sesame Place tomorrow, the Aquarium next weekend, and lots of fun events in between. Hanukkah is tomorrow, New Years is soon and the year is wrapping up. It's crazy!

You will always be my love, my best friend and the most perfect little love. 18 months and better then ever - I can't wait to see what these next few months bring!! By the way, I've already started planning your 2nd birthday. Bring on the tears!!!

    I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!

    week 33!

    American Idol ....?? ;)

    My little teenager. UHHHHHH!

MMMMMM. Matzah Soup for our little family!
REAAAAAAALLY short, quick post because I'm uncomfortable, busy and sleepy ;)

    1. Layla will be 18 months tomorrow. She starts school one week from today. I'm going to vomit.
    2. We had a great week. Saw lots of friends & family. Saw a great movie "Silver Lining Playbook".
    3. I am excited for what we have coming up!! Sesame Place on Saturday. Baby Sprinkle next weekend.
    4. The new baby's room is about 80% together. I love it so far.
    5. Josh has wavered back & forth on the new babe's name (despite it being basically set in stone for a while) - I wonder if it will stay the same?! Only time will tell - meanwhile, I've ordered quite a few personalized items. Oops.
    6. We are finally going to start on the kitchen soon. Problem is we're 5 1/2 weeks from the baby coming - um... this is a serious issue. Unless they start next week and RUSH, can it be done pre-baby?!
7.........I think the baby is coming to come earlier then 1/14/13.

Layla in my belly... for comparison. I'm MUCH bigger and MUCH lower this time around.

    Baby boy in my belly!!

  • How far along? 33 weeks, 2 days.
  • Total weight gain/loss: Up 1.0 pounds. A total of 39.6. I was ecstatic to FINALLY gain just ONE pound. Hope this trend continues. (I weighed this same amount my last pregnancy as well)
  • Maternity clothes? Yes. I'm in a pair of maternity jeans from my last pregnancy today - they were expensive but I remember hating them. I figured I'd try them again today. I HATE THEM. They keep falling and I'm so n comfortable. I'm going to donate them stat.
  • Stretch marks? Not yet. Can we make it the next 5 1/2 stretch mark free?? HOPE SO! C'MON BIO OIL!
  • Sleep: No. I mean. No. It's rough. Sometimes it's better then others but it's painful, I pee 4086490 times a night and I'm just so uncomfortable.
  • Best moment this week: Hands down, Layla running around her room picking up clothes and saying "It's so cute!" - I got it on video. It's amazing. Of course this is a tie with feeling the babe's movement and getting his nursery in order!
  • Have you told family and friends: Yes.
  • Movement: Constant.
  • Food cravings:  Hungry but heartburn is making it worse & worse. Water is the biggest culprit. Uh.
  • Anything making you queasy or sick: I've had some nausea recently - glad this symptom is returning. NOT.
  • Gender prediction: BOY!!
  • Labor Signs: Braxton Hicks out the wazoo.
  • Belly Button in or out? Barely in.
  • Wedding rings on or off?  I think today is my last day with my rings. They are tight. Granted it's warm out (like, seriously.. it's December and it's between 60-70 - what is happening?!)
  • Happy or Moody most of the time: Back & forth. I'm beginning to have anxiety about it all. I think the worst part is I'm worried about Layla. I'm spoiling her silly these next few weeks.
  • Weekly Wisdom: Nap when the baby naps. Stop playing words with friends. And enjoy challah french toast.
  • Milestones: The nursery is almost complete. My rings barely fit and my feet are swollen -- the end of this pregnancy is nearing!! ;)

    Week 32!

    "Mama... IN! OKAY!" - Layla

She spotted the lollipops from across the bank. Whoever said a lollipop at 9:00 AM was a bad idea? ;)

Rigby & Layla starting their day together...

    MAMA -- SNOW!!

My sweet girl. I love this picture.

    Welcome to week 32.
Less then 7 weeks to go until Mr. B will be here.

His clothes are ALL washed and hung up ready to be hung up.

His room is coming together. I ordered a canvas of my big preggo belly and I'll hang it this weekend. My brother in law will hang his curtains. I'll figure out decorations, where to put the furniture and more. My sister in law is making his letters for his wall. I ordered his rug. It's happening - and fast.

We've had a great few days and time is marching on.

These next few weeks are SO busy... our weekends are all filling up fast with holiday parties and more. Our weeks are becoming a bit more scheduled soon as Layla will be starting school in TWO weeks (cue me crying. and worrying. and crying). It's a lot of change and it's a bit overwhelming but I'm excited too.

I started researching the baby's bris and I will be talking with the moyel tonight.

It SNOWED yesterday - more then expected but not enough for it to be annoying (my favorite kind!) - Layla LOVED it... I wish we could have played in it more but it was too cold.

Better run - have a great week. Can't believe we're a couple days away from DECEMBER!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, in clothes. My shirt looks like it's ready to tear in half - and it's maternity. Poor thing.

    Front view. He looks LOW!

    Hello baby B!

  • How far along? 32 weeks, 2 days.
  • Total weight gain/loss: Up 2.0 pounds. A total of 38.6. Wow.
  • Maternity clothes? Yes. When I wear my regular clothes, I feel bad for them. Haha.
  • Stretch marks? Not yet - fingers crossed.
  • Sleep: The snoogle (body pillow) is helping but I had my first bout of leg cramp last Thursday night. I woke up at 2:00 AM and felt it coming on slowly - I flexed my toes which usually helps and instead it came on, full blown. I cried. Josh watched on in horror and massaged my leg. It hurt so bad, I actually feared sleep the next night. Thanks to some stretching before bed every night, I seem to have kept them at bay.
  • Best moment this week: So many. Having our lovely friends over Friday night (Shari, Brian, Rachel & Jason). Spending a lot of time with my sister. Thanksgiving part-deux at my parents house on Sunday. Two amazing days with my sweet girl on Monday & Tuesday. Laura & Clay booking their flights to come see us for a long weekend over NYE. DAH!

  • Weekly Wisdom: Enjoy your sweet 17 month old sleeping until 7:30 AM (and later... including TWO days of 8:15 AM) because it won't last forever. This also includes her napping twice a day. This, too, shall pass... so soak it up now mama.
  • Milestones: His room is finally coming together. I ordered a rug from Urban Outfitters, his clothes are now all washed... it's all happening!!
